Emma Brillantes, BSc, MC Registered Provisional Psychologist
Hello! My name is Emma. I have a Bachelor of Science from Mount Royal University and a Master of Counselling Psychology from City University of Seattle. I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists and a member of the Psychological Association of Alberta.
I am passionate about helping people reconnect with themselves and live more balanced, intentional lives through evidence-based therapy focused on overall well-being. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, and prenatal or postpartum concerns, as well as with couples wanting to strengthen communication and connection. I offer a warm, collaborative, and supportive space, blending holistic practices with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness. I also have training in Gottman’s Couples Therapy. My goal is for clients to feel heard and understood while building practical tools for growth and lasting change.
Outside of work, I enjoy dancing, working out, going for walks, watching a good thriller movie, and spending time with my husband.
Whatever brings you to therapy, my hope is to support you in feeling grounded, confident, and empowered as you work toward your goals. I would be honoured to walk alongside you on that journey.
