Relaxation Massage

Just like its name, relaxation massage centers on the relaxation of a client.  Relaxation massages increase the flow of oxygen in the blood, thereby, releasing toxins from the muscles. It focuses mainly on giving the client quality time to recover from the daily stresses of everyday life. Traditionally, it this type of massage involves the whole body. The therapist starts on either the back or the stomach and flip over at the halfway point. If there is a particular concern like a tight neck, the therapist can spend more time working in this area.

Traditional relaxation massages are recommended for people who are new to massage therapy.
You and the practitioner will discuss the desired outcome of your session consequently determining which parts of your body require extra time. The therapist adjusts the pressure from light, medium, or firm depending on the client’s preferencesA typical full body session will include work on your back, arms, legs, feet, hands, head, neck, and shoulders. Many people prefer a 60- to 90-minute session for optimal relaxation. Please make sure to always allow relaxation time prior to and after the session.
